Our team had two major events in Austin in early December: the Allbound Conference and LeadSimple University. Find out what we learned and shared.

Nothing can beat gathering together in person to talk about all things property management and property management technology. And, that’s exactly what we accomplished in Austin in early December 2023, which was a great way to end the year.

Over a hundred PMs came to town to learn and network. The two major events happening were the Sales Mastery Allbound Conference from RentScale and LeadSimple University. It was truly an Austin takeover for the property management industry, with lots of networking and learning.

Here’s what happened during this monumental week in Austin.

Quick Scoreboard Update

Before we dive into the Austin news, we want to provide a quick business development scoreboard update. In November, RentScale had 286 doors across Atlanta, Utah, Fort Worth, Chicago, and Memphis. While this was down from October’s numbers, it is expected and pretty normal for the winter holiday months.

In the same period, leads increased to 33, up 30%. Our prospects will be ready to make decisions at the beginning of the year so our focus is nurturing them so we’re ready to take them on in 2024.

We also heard a rumor that someone will be the first person ever to turn a triple-digit number for December. So, January 2024 is on track to be an exciting month for property managers.

Sales Mastery and the Allbound Conference

Our team has been working for many months on our annual sales program: Sales Mastery. This program took on a special format this year called the Allbound Conference. We wanted to talk about all of the great things our clients are doing – which include over 100 property managers over the U.S. and Canada at any given time – for inbound, outbound, and “nextbound,” our term for knowing your next customer.

Our goal was to send attendees back home to create their own Allbound campaign and plan for 2024.
